Avantel designed and developed UHF Transmitter for transmitting data signals on a UHF carrier. The equipment is part of a BUOY which is dropped in the sea and the sensors collects the required data modulates the UHF and transmitted in burst frame to be picked up for data collection. The Transmitter works in conjunction with the Micro-controller of the BUOY which provides the necessary control signal. The Transmitter primarily consists of a DC - DC converter, Synthesized modulator, 10 Watt Amplifier and a control signal (MSG) card. These have been housed in a mechanical package which is slid into the buoy of given space.
